Aston Martin Unveils the Valour: A Tribute to 110 Years of Automotive Excellence

Aston Martin marks its 110th anniversary with the introduction of the Valour, a superlative manual V12-engined special edition that pays homage to the brand's storied tradition of front-engined sports cars. A manifestation of elegance and power, this exclusive vehicle will be produced in a limited run of 110 units globally.


Borrowing inspiration from the iconic 1970s V8 Vantage and the legendary ‘Muncher’ Le Mans racer, the Valour beautifully melds retro aesthetics with contemporary technology. Its dynamic design features are not only aesthetically striking but also leverage modern aerodynamic principles for optimized performance.


At the heart of the Valour lies an imposing 5.2-litre Twin Turbo V12 engine, seamlessly paired with a bespoke 6-speed manual transmission. This not only ensures peak driver engagement but also pays tribute to an era where driving was a deeply tactile and mechanical experience. Its intense power and performance capabilities are complemented by a mechanical limited-slip differential, lending a tangible, analogue connection between the driver and the car.

Speaking on the release, Aston Martin Executive Chairman, Lawrence Stroll, described the Valour as a modern icon that encapsulates the brand's dedication to design, engineering, and manufacturing excellence.


Drawing upon a rich lineage of Aston Martin vehicles, the Valour boasts characteristics reminiscent of historic models, yet it stands out distinctly in the 2023 automotive landscape. From the 1990s twin supercharged V600 Vantage to the exquisite One-77 supercar, the Valour's DNA is rooted in greatness.


Inside, the Valour presents a cocoon of luxury with a cockpit that emphasizes both simplicity and tactility. A variety of premium materials, including woolen tweed and carbon fibre, allow for a bespoke driving environment tailored to the owner's preferences.
