Aston Martin Unveils the DBX S: Performance, Precision, and Presence
Aston Martin is raising the bar in the high-performance luxury SUV segment with the debut of the DBX S—a bolder, more powerful evolution of its acclaimed DBX. Carrying forward the legacy of the brand’s iconic “S” models, this new variant blends enhanced performance, weight-saving innovations, and refined design. With the DBX S, Aston Martin continues its mission to redefine what a sport-luxury SUV can be—without compromising elegance.
More Power, Sharper Response
At the heart of the DBX S lies an upgraded 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, tuned with technologies derived from the development of the Valhalla supercar. The result is an output of 727 horsepower, enabling blistering acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. A recalibrated 9-speed automatic transmission with a wet-clutch setup ensures lightning-quick gear changes, especially in the Sport+ drive mode, where responsiveness is at its peak.
Lighter, Tighter, More Dynamic
To elevate handling and agility, Aston Martin has focused on targeted weight reduction. An optional carbon fibre roof helps lower the centre of gravity, while magnesium alloy wheels significantly reduce unsprung mass. In total, the DBX S can shed up to 47 kg compared to the already formidable DBX707. Paired with adaptive electronic dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes, the DBX S delivers sharper dynamics and improved high-speed stability.
Striking Design with Purpose
Visually, the DBX S asserts its performance credentials with a redesigned front grille, a new rear diffuser and quad stacked exhaust outlets. Optional are carbon fibre elements on the mirrors, side sills, and rear bumper. A contrasting aerodynamic accent line further highlight its sculpted profile. A subtle but telling red "S" badge set into the front fenders, paying homage to Aston Martin’s performance lineage
An Interior That Balances Sport and Sophistication
Inside, the DBX S cabin is both luxurious and driver-focused. Standard upholstery features Alcantara with chevron stitching, exclusive to this trim. For those who prefer a softer touch, semi-aniline leather is available across the interior. A redesigned dashboard architecture houses a new, Aston Martin-developed infotainment system with a clean, intuitive interface.
Audio is equally impressive, with a 14-speaker sound system as standard, and an optional Bowers & Wilkins premium system boasting 23 speakers and 1600 watts for an audiophile-grade experience.
Continuing a Prestigious Lineage
The DBX S proudly extends Aston Martin’s “S” series tradition, blending elevated performance, assertive design, and refined luxury into a single, dynamic package. It’s more than just a sportier DBX—it’s a statement of intent, reaffirming Aston Martin’s position at the pinnacle of the performance SUV market.
Deliveries of the DBX S are expected to begin by the end of 2025, and with its rare balance of power and poise, this SUV is poised to become a benchmark in its class.
