Aston Martin Debuts the DB12: The World’s First Super Tourer

Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12, marking a new epoch in its sports car lineup. Setting a new benchmark in performance, ultra-luxury, and style, this new model has significantly shifted the dynamics of the next generation of sports cars.


This monumental release coincides with Aston Martin's 110th anniversary and the 75th anniversary of the DB model line, marking a significant year for the automaker. The company's ongoing success in the 2023 Formula 1 season is a testament to its commitment to high-performance vehicles.


The DB12 is the embodiment of power and potency, with an assertive exterior design. The 4.0 V8 Twin-Turbo engine, a standout in its class, generates a power output of 680PS and 800Nm, thereby enhancing the driving experience to new standards. Alongside its high-performance engine, it offers an expansive range of features merging thrilling dynamics with utmost comfort and refinement.


The DB12 also boasts an all-new suspension system furnished with advanced adaptive dampers, an Electronic Rear Differential (E-diff), and 21-inch Aston Martin bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tyres, among other technical highlights.


Inside the car, the state-of-the-art Aston Martin infotainment system holds center stage, while the ultra-luxurious interior design concentrates on a driver-centric cockpit. This space marries cutting-edge technology with luxurious craftsmanship and materials, forming an environment that offers both practicality and opulence.


Performance-wise, the DB12 can achieve a top speed of 202 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.


Roberto Fedeli, Group Chief Technology Officer of Aston Martin, states that the DB12 is a "statement car," exemplifying Aston Martin's position as a frontrunner in performance, dynamics, engineering, and technology. Fedeli promises that the DB12 will outperform its rivals in power and performance without compromising on refinement, comfort, and luxury.

Deliveries for the new vehicle are slated to begin in Q3 of 2023.
