Spring arrives differently when you command 690 horsepower beneath an open sky. The Aston Martin DB12 S Volante transforms the anticipation of...
Aston Martin released a teaser of its final Aston Martin V12 Vantage earlier this month, previewing the last car ever built by Aston Martin to feature a 12-cylinder engine. Building upon the success of the previous Aston Martin V12 Vantage, the new model will arrive next year.
We aren’t quite sure when the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage will arrive on the market, but we do know that it will be the last V12-powered Aston Martin. The Crewe automaker has been synonymous with 12-cylinder engines for decades, but the industry is changing and so is Aston Martin.
Still, this latest chapter in Aston Martin V12 supercars should have purists excited. We don’t know the specs, but they should surpass the previous V12 Vantage which delivered 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. More importantly, it delivered one of the most impressive exhaust notes ever heard from a performance car.
The manual gearbox option won’t return, unfortunately, but we can expect better performance, an even more aggressive engine note, and the latest F1-inspired tech to ensure optimal handling along with the most efficient accelerations ever seen on an Aston Martin V12.
We look forward to bringing you more information as it becomes available on the exciting new Aston Martin V12 Vantage.
